Dietitian Consults in Brisbane and Online Australia-Wide
Need clear, personalised nutrition advice without the food guilt, overwhelm or “perfect diet” nonsense?
01
Telehealth or Telephone Consult
Telehealth consults are easy with a computer, tablet or mobile phone. I send you a link in an email and you click on it at our appointment time. It’s just like we are in the same room. After our consult I email you with resources and a summary of strategies.
Alternately, we can do a telephone consult. The process is the same, it’s just conducted over the telephone.
Cost is $140 for an initial consult, $80 for a review consult.

02
Home Visit
If you live in the Inner Northern Brisbane suburbs I can visit you at home. The process of the consultation is the same as a telehealth one, it’s just done in person. Your partner or carer can be present if you wish. At the end of the consult I’ll jot down a summary of strategies and email you resources.
Cost is $170 for an initial consult, $110 for a review consult.
What can a dietitian help with?
A dietitian consult can help if you’re confused about food, managing what to eat for a health condition, feeling stuck with your eating habits, or simply wanting to feel better.
At Nutrition Intuition, I can help with nutrition advice for:
– general healthy eating
– weight loss or gain
– diabetes and pre-diabetes
– PCOS
– anaemia (low iron)
– heart health, high cholesterol and high blood pressure
– vegetarian and vegan eating
– gluten-free eating for coeliac disease
– osteoporosis or osteopenia
– gut health and gastrointestinal concerns
– malnutrition, poor appetite or being underweight
– improving your relationship with food
– building practical meal planning and shopping skills.
What’s included in a dietitian consult?
Everyone eats different things every day. Everyone has different taste preferences. Every medical condition requires different nutritional therapies. This is why I will ask you for a detailed diet history. This usually involves asking you about your daily routine and what you eat throughout a typical day. This can be a very difficult thing to provide for some people. However, this is a key component of the process so I can individualise your nutrition plan and goals.
Before you visit us, please download our weekly food diary. Use this to keep a record of your eating over a period of at least a week. Don’t change anything from your usual intake, just write it down as you go.
Your nutrition consult may include:
– a review of your current eating habits, pathology (blood test results), and health concerns
– helping you to set realistic goals to help give you direction
– information and education to assist you in managing your health concern or achieve your goals
– practical nutrition strategies tailored to you
– support with meal planning, shopping or label reading if needed
– resources, recommendations or strategies emailed after your appointment
– booking follow-up appointments to review progress and adjust your plan
Initial appointments are usually up to 1 hour, and review appointments are usually up to 30 minutes.

Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private health rebates
As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, I am registered with Medicare, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and major private health funds.
Private health rebates vary depending on your level of cover.
To claim a Medicare rebate, you will need to see your GP for a relevant referral, such as a Team Care Arrangement or Chronic Disease Management Plan. Medicare rebates can usually be processed electronically, but appointments are not generally bulk billed.
DVA Health Cards, Gold and White, are accepted with a GP referral.
NDIS may be invoiced through your service provider.
